Delhi notifies permanent Winter Pollution Master Plan; year-round PUC rule among key measures

Delhi has unveiled a permanent Winter Pollution Master Plan, effective annually from November 1 to February 28. This comprehensive strategy targets vehicle emissions, construction, and waste burning with stricter regulations. Notably, fuel will only be dispensed to vehicles with valid PUC certificates year-round. Demolition and construction face a ban from November to January, while offices will adopt a 50% work-from-home policy and double parking charges will be implemented.
