Afghan defence ministry says it carried out 'air strikes' in Pakistan's Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces.

The strikes come a day after an attack in the southern city of Karachi killed three paramilitary troops. There was no immediate response from Afghanistan's ruling Taliban.

Islamabad said intelligence-led raids targeted militant camps in border regions after recent attacks, as Kabul confirmed the strikes amid renewed cross-border tensions.
