US Treasury clears four Indian entities, removes them from sanctions list | India News

The US has revoked sanctions on four Indian companies, initially imposed in 2024 for allegedly supporting Russia's military-industrial base, as part of its latest policy revision.

In 2024, Washington had alleged that the firms provided financial, material or technological support to the Russian government.

OFAC delisted four Indian companies from its SDN list on July 1, lifting Russia-related sanctions imposed in October 2024 and restoring US dollar access.
