The wife of sanctioned Ukrainian businessman Vadym Yermolaiev has lost both legs as a result of an explosion in Monaco. UP's law enforcement sources believe the attack may have been organised by representatives of organised crime and could be linked to fraud call centres in Dnipro.

Two of the victims suffered life-threatening injuries, police said. One of the wounded is Ukrainian oligarch Vadym Yermolaiev, a source said.

Vadym Yermolaiev was sanctioned by Ukraine for allegedly doing business in Russian-occupied Crimea. Two other people were also injured, including a 13-year-old.
