The Osun State Police Command has announced the arrest of 24 suspected cultists and individuals linked to political thuggery and other violent crimes across the state amid growing security concerns over cult-related killings and violence in recent weeks. The Commissioner of Police in Osun State, Ibrahim Gotan, disclosed this during a press briefing held on Monday, where he reiterated the command’s determination to tackle criminal activities and guarantee peace before, during and after the forthcoming elections in the state.
