Nation Media Group Uganda (NMG-U) has announced that its offices in Kampala have been rendered inaccessible after what it described as an overnight military raid that disrupted its operations across television, radio and newspaper platforms. The NMG, a leading media conglomerate headquartered in Kenya, owns several outlets in Uganda, including the Daily Monitor newspaper, Spark TV, NTV Uganda, and radio stations such as KFM and Dembe FM.

Independent media group, NMG, said it was under a "military siege" after Muhoozi Kainerugaba shutdown its newspapers, TV station, and radio outlets.
