West Midlands Police said that the body of a woman had been recovered from Swan Pool in Sandwell Valley Country Park after she went missing in the water just after 4:30pm.

Emergency services were called to Swan Pool in West Bromwich at around 4.45pm on Saturday, June 27, following reports of a person in trouble in the water.

The boy got into difficulty in the water on Saturday and a body was recovered by under water search teams on Monday as people have been urged to enjoy the hot weather safely
