OpenAI has appointed Prabhjeet Singh, Uber’s president for India and South Asia, as its managing director for India, marking one of the company’s most significant senior hires in the country as it looks to deepen its presence in one of its top priority markets.

Uber India and South Asia President Prabhjeet Singh has stepped down after more than a decade with the ride-hailing company, the company confirmed on Thursday, PTI reported.
