Anthony Elanga quickly equalised for Sweden just six minutes later, cutting in from the right wing to curl a low shot past Japan's goalkeeper, Zion Suzuki. The result means Japan finished second in Group F, while Sweden topped the third-place teams, further diminishing Scotland’s hopes of reaching the last 32.
