The opening night of Lionel Richie new tour was abruptly cut short after the singer became “dizzy” on stage. The 77-year-old singer was nearly an hour into his concert at the Grand Casino Arena when he told fans that he was feeling “strange”. He then proceeded to take a seat on one of the platforms whilst singing “Dancing on the Ceiling”. The singer was then transported to hospital after leaving the stage and ending the show, TMZ reported. The outlet said that the hospital trip was a precautionary measure. The Independent has contacted Richie’s representative for comment.
