Operatives of the Ondo State Security Network Agency, also known as Amotekun Corps, have rescued eight kidnapped victims in the state after a gun battle with their abductors. The Ondo State Commander of Amotekun, Akogun Adetunji Adeleye, disclosed this on Thursday to journalists, claiming the victims were freed without the payment of any ransom.

Babaseyi said the operation was carried out by personnel of the Anti-Kidnapping Unit following the abduction of a victim at Ogbe Village in the state on June 11, 2026.
