Activists seek ₹50 lakh compensation for families of STP workers

The Karnataka State Committee of Right to Information Activists has requested Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar to provide compensation of ₹50 lakh each to the families of two workers who died after falling into 40-foot-deep sewage treatment plant (STP) of the Bengaluru Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) on June 18.
