International survey shows widespread loss of confidence in Trump’s world leadership

The survey found that 76 percent of adults had no confidence in Trump's leadership on the world stage, while only 23 percent expressed confidence. Trump received poor marks for his handling of key foreign policy issues, including tariffs, Gaza, Iran, Greenland, and the Russia-Ukraine war, with no country showing more positive attitudes towards him. Overall, 57 percent of those polled held an unfavorable view of the US, and trust in the US as a reliable partner declined steeply in many countries, including traditional allies like the UK and Canada, since 2022.
