The DHS confirmed Iran's national soccer team can enter the US two days before their June 26 World Cup match in Seattle, easing prior entry restrictions.

The Iranian team has been subject to intense rules from the Department of Homeland Security since before the World Cup began.

The team can now enter the U.S. a day before their matches, but they still face a ton of restrictions.

Iran's World Cup team was originally only permitted to spend 24 hours in the United States for its matches.
