ByteDance is in early talks for a roughly $20bn offshore loan, nearly double its 2024 record, as AI infrastructure and chip spending climb, Bloomberg reports.

The loan is expected to be around $20 billion with preliminary talks taking place with multiple banks. The tenure could be anywhere between three to five years.
