Inside NASA's $4.3 billion Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope that could see 100 times more than Hubble

NASA’s Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope has reached Kennedy Space Center in Florida, where it has begun final preparations for launch aboard a SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket. The observatory arrived on NASA’s Pegasus barge on June 21, 2026, after travelling in a protective, environmentally controlled container from Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland.
