The Movement for Credible Elections (MCE) has called for an immediate investigation into allegations of vote-buying, pre-thumbprinted ballot papers, importation of voters, and the distribution of uncollected Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) during the ongoing Ekiti State governorship election. The group, in a statement issued on Saturday and signed by the Head of its National Secretariat, Olawale Okunniyi, warned that the reported incidents threaten the integrity of the electoral process.
