Two East Midlands Railway trains were involved, with one hitting the back of the other.

Emergency services rushed to the scene of a collision between two trains north of London on Friday afternoon that killed one person.

Two East Midlands trains have crashed into each other causing serious injuries. The incident occurred around Kempston between Luton and Bedford, at about 5.15pm.
