Franklin Templeton has filed for two passive ETFs that would use stock dividends to build Bitcoin exposure alongside portfolios of US equities.

The asset manager's two proposed "Bitcoin DRIP" funds would hold U.S. stocks and reinvest dividends into Bitcoin, a novel ETF structure.

Franklin has filed for two new ETFs that would reinvest stock dividends into BTC, with an expected effective date as early as Sept. 1, 2026.
