Reform UK deputy leader Richard Tice hit out at Andy Burnham following his landslide victory in the crucial Makerfield by-election. Tice’s party was dealt a blow with Mr Burnham winning the by-election by 9,231 votes on Friday (19 June), despite Reform UK performing best in last month’s local elections. When asked about Mr Burnham now likely to officially challenge Sir Keir Starmer for the Labour leadership, Mr Tice described him as the “King of U-turns”.
