The prime minister said Trump liked the structure of Canada's EV deal with China

The arrangement allows a capped number of electric vehicles from China to be imported at a low-tariff rate.

“He likes the structure,” Carney told reporters. Later, Trump said: “I don’t know that I said I like it, but I could understand that.”
