The incident, which occurred on 27 April, involved a fire allegedly started in a memorial cabinet next to the wall, prompting a counter-terrorism police investigation. Fallahi is accused of damaging by fire a memorial cabinet belonging to Miga Rally and is scheduled to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday. The memorial wall, established by the Miga Rally community group, commemorates victims of a crackdown in Iran and those killed in the 2023 Hamas attack on the Nova music festival in Israel. The fire was quickly extinguished and did not spread to the wall itself, with Miga Rally condemning the attempt to damage a place of remembrance.
