The authorities in Khmelnytskyi Oblast have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the crash of a Su-24M frontline bomber that killed two pilots on 16 June. Investigators have started decoding the aircraft's flight data recorder and Air Force Command has launched an internal inquiry.

A Su-24M frontline bomber belonging to the 7th Petro Franko Tactical Aviation Brigade crashed in Khmelnytskyi Oblast on the evening of 16 June, killing both crew members.
