Anyone who bet the farm on Elon Musk's SpaceX IPO is counting their lucky stars now as its value reaches $2.5 trillion.

After its Nasdaq debut on Friday, SpaceX was the sixth most-valuable U.S. company, despite being a fraction the size by revenue of tech's megacaps.

SpaceX raised $75 billion in the largest IPO ever, surging 19% on day one to a $2.1 trillion valuation and making Elon Musk the world's first trillionaire.
