Civil Society CBIAMEC Denies Link To Corruption Petitions On Former Inspector-General Egbetokun

The CSOs Budget Implementation, Assessment, Evaluation and Monitoring Committee (CBIAMEC) has distanced itself from a series of petitions, allegations and protest-related activities linked to claims of financial misconduct against former Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun. The Committee said it has no connection to the coalition of civil society actors currently facing detention by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over allegations arising from a proposed protest and petition concerning the Nigeria Police Force.
