SA ocean conservationist Silindile Mbuyazi honoured with National Geographic global Wayfinder Award recognition

Silindile Mbuyazi, a South African dive instructor and ocean conservation advocate, has been awarded the 2026 Wayfinder Award by the National Geographic Society. She was recognised for training more than 150 divers and promoting ocean access, particularly among African women and scientists.
