Ogun Police Command Busts Cross-Border Car Smugglers, Robbers, Arrests Two Suspects

Operatives of the Ogun State Police Command have intercepted a suspected cross-border vehicle trafficking operation in Idiroko, arresting two men and recovering a stolen 28-seater Toyota Coaster bus allegedly headed for illegal sale in the Benin Republic. The suspects — Seun Lawal, 46, and Ademola Oriyomi, 38 — were picked up by officers attached to the Idiroko Division following a credible and actionable intelligence received late on June 12, 2026.
