OTTAWA - The federal government plans to table a bill Friday that would change the way Canada bars imports of products made with forced labour.

Foreign Affairs Minister Anita Anand will table “An Act respecting the prohibition of the importation of goods produced by forced labour.”

C-35 proposes that the Minister of Foreign Affairs establish a list of goods that may have been produced wholly or in part by forced labour.
