Joint committee begins assessment of Mula river pollution, report to be submitted to NGT

As data collection is still underway, the MPCB has sought an additional three weeks from the NGT to prepare and submit the committee report. The findings are expected to help determine the extent of contamination and identify areas requiring urgent intervention
