DJ Tira puts Afrotainment marquee on hold for the DBN July, bets big on Durban Hotbox

DJ Tira has confirmed that his popular Afrotainment marquee will not feature at the 2026 Hollywoodbets Durban July after failing to secure sponsorship funding. Instead, the music mogul is focusing on growing Durban Hotbox, a new event launched with Kabza De Small, which he hopes to expand to Johannesburg and Cape Town.
