UPDATE | Four killed, cop injured in Bog Walk Gorge shootout; route remains closed

The Bog Walk Gorge in St Catherine remained closed Tuesday evening as investigators processed the scene of a fatal confrontation that left four men dead and a policeman “seriously” injured, the police say. Senior Superintendent of Police Hopton Nicholson, head of the St Catherine North Police Division, said the cop was shot during the incident. He described the officer's condition as "serious but stable".The constable is reportedly assigned to the Linstead Police Station.
