A fresh controversy has erupted within the minority caucus of the House of Representatives as members of the "G-60 group of opposition lawmakers" rejected allegations that signatures used to nominate Hon. Ikenga Ugochinyere as Minority Leader were forged. The lawmakers insisted that all signatures appended to the nomination document were voluntarily provided by members of the caucus and accused critics of attempting to discredit what they described as a transparent and democratic process.
