The meeting follows a political row over the police's treatment of Mr Nowak, who was fatally stabbed by Vickrum Digwa in December 2025. Digwa, who has been sentenced to life imprisonment, claimed he was a victim of a racial attack, while Mr Nowak was handcuffed by police and ignored despite pleas that he could not breathe.
