Visayas grid under yellow alert on Thursday evening, June 4, 2026
The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) on Thursday placed the Visayas grid under yellow alert due to forced outages and derated capacities of several power plants. In an advisory, the NGCP said a yellow alert status is hoisted over the Visayas from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
