Iran carried out a drone strike on a passenger terminal at Kuwait International Airport early Wednesday (3 June), wounding several people and forcing the suspension of air traffic, Kuwait's state news agency reported. Severe damage was inflicted on the airport's T1 building, the news report citing the General Civil Aviation Authority said. The US military earlier said two Iranian missiles fired at the country fell short or broke apart en route, and three missiles launched towards Bahrain were intercepted by US and Bahraini forces.

Iran fired drones and ballistic missiles at targets in Kuwait and Bahrain, their governments claimed.
