BREAKING: Terrorists Invade Kogi Community, Kill One, Abduct Over 30, Including Commercial Bus Passengers

Suspected terrorists invaded Ayegunle Bunu community in Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State in the early hours of Monday, killing one person and abducting more than 30 others. SaharaReporters gathered that the attack occurred around 2:25 a.m. on June 1, 2026. During the attack, one resident was reportedly killed while another person sustained injuries. According to reports by local news medium Egbe Mekun Parrot, two residents of Ayegunle Bunu, a man and a woman, were among those abducted by the attackers.
