The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on Saturday said it has been informed by the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in southeastern Ukraine that a drone today struck a turbine building at the site, reportedly causing a hole in its wall.

The plant lost both landline and internet connections for about 12 hours on May 27, marking the longest such outage since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
