Sir Quentin Blake unveils mural ahead of illustration centre opening

Sir Quentin Blake, 93, unveiled mural *A Bridge To The Past* at the Quentin Blake Centre for Illustration in Clerkenwell, London, opening June 5 as the world's largest public space dedicated to illustration. The centre — result of a charity founded in 2002 — hosts three galleries, a free illustration library and permanent collection, establishing a new benchmark for cultural infrastructure in the UK.
