A former officer of the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), David Rush, has been arrested in Virginia after federal investigators allegedly uncovered a massive cache of stolen gold bars, foreign currency, cash and luxury items linked to the intelligence agency. Rush was taken into custody last week on allegations bordering on theft of public funds after the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) reportedly discovered more than 300 gold bars estimated to be worth about $40 million hidden inside his residence, according to CNN.
