Beverley Callard has revealed that hospital staff are a “little concerned” for her in a candid cancer update. The Coronation Street actor, who announced she was diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer in February, told her Instagram followers on Tuesday (26 May) that she received news that she “didn’t want to hear” during a recent appointment. “They are a little concerned because they think I should’ve started the radiotherapy before now, but because we moved house, it took a while for my medical records to come from England to Ireland... but they’ve all arrived.” She said that she is hoping to begin the radiotherapy “as soon as possible” and will continue to provide updates.
