Adeyanju Issues Pre-Action Notice Against Facebook User ‘Mezie’ Over ‘Murder’ Allegation, Demands Retraction Within 72 Hours

Human rights lawyer and activist, Deji Adeyanju, has issued a pre-action notice demanding a public apology and immediate retraction from a Facebook user, Chimezie Princewill Onwuka, also known as Mezie, over an alleged defamatory publication accusing him of murder. The demand was conveyed through his legal counsel, Zainab M. Otega, in a letter dated May 26, 2026, and addressed to Mezie who allegedly made the claims via a verified Facebook account, @Mezie, on May 24, 2026.
