BOSA has called for taxpayers not to fund President Cyril Ramaphosa’s legal costs in the Phala Phala matter as he moves to challenge a panel report that found prima facie evidence of misconduct and recommended impeachment consideration. The party argues the matter should be resolved through Parliament’s impeachment process without prolonged legal delays.

Ramaphosa wants the report scrapped — especially the section recommending that Parliament consider impeachment proceedings against him.

Impeachment proceedings cannot continue while Ramaphosa challenges legality of panel’s findings, he says
