Niger Delta Leaders Reaffirm Support For Pipeline Security, Demand Expanded Development

The Niger Delta Ethnic Nationalities Youth Leaders Forum has issued a strong communiqué following its recent summits, calling on the Nigerian government and key institutions to intensify development, expand security efforts, and resist attempts to destabilise existing progress in the region. Speaking in Abuja, the Chairman of the Forum, Jonathan Lokpobiri, emphasised that the resolutions were reached after extensive consultations, including the May 11 summit in Port Hacourt attended by over 2,000 youths.
