Borno Government Shuts Down School, Relocates Students After Boko Haram Abducted 42 In Askira/Uba Community

The Borno State government has temporarily shut down Government Day Secondary School, Mussa, in Askira/Uba Local Government Area following the abduction of 42 students and children by suspected Boko Haram insurgents. The state government also approved the relocation of students from the affected school to Government Secondary School, Uba, as part of emergency security measures under the Safe Schools Initiative.
