IRGC Claims It Shot Down US Drone, Fired At F-35 Jet Over Violation Of Iranian Airspace

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed responsibility for shooting down a United States MQ-9 Reaper drone after what it described as a hostile intrusion into Iranian airspace over the Gulf region on Tuesday. The IRGC also claimed it opened fire on a US F-35 fighter jet and an RQ-4 intelligence-gathering drone, forcing the aircraft to retreat from Iranian airspace.
