Usman Bawa Emerges Kaduna PDP Governorship Candidate, Vows Tough Actions Against Bandits

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State has elected Hon. Usman Bawa ABG as its governorship candidate for the 2027 general elections, with the flag bearer vowing to take tougher action against banditry and kidnapping if elected. Bawa ABG, known as Alhaji Bawa Garba, emerged winner of Sunday’s primary election after polling 124,170 votes. He defeated his closest rival, Hon. Haruna Kajuru AG, who secured 22,010 votes, according to the Returning Officer, Prof. Ibrahim Lawal.
