Cooking gas prices have continued to climb across Lagos, Ogun and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, with households and small businesses bearing the brunt of worsening supply shortages and rising costs in the liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) market. Checks on Monday showed that prices of cooking gas ranged between N1,400 and N2,000 per kilogramme (kg) in different parts of the country, with sharp increases recorded in several locations.
