Kaduna State Contractors Kick, Threaten To Decommission Boreholes Over Unpaid N38billion Debt For Years

About 400 contractors engaged by the Kaduna State government under a controversial N38billion project arrangement have threatened to decommission completed boreholes and retrieve supplied items over alleged non-payment spanning more than two years. The contractors, operating under the umbrella of the Eagle Brain Human Rights Organisation, accused the state government of abandoning them after they executed projects across Kaduna communities following directives from the Ministry of Local Government.
