Usyk and Verhoeven confirm readiness for main event at official weigh-in ceremony for ‘Glory in Giza’

CAIRO: The preamble and ceremonies for “Glory in Giza” concluded on Friday night at the Grand Egyptian Museum with the official weigh-in ceremony for the fighters competing in the highly anticipated card on Saturday night. The showcase event, part of Riyadh Season, will take place at the Pyramids of Giza. The official weigh-ins saw all participating fighters successfully make weight for their respective bouts. Leading the lineup were the two fighters facing off in the main event: Ukrainian heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk and Dutch kickboxing king Rico Verhoeven.
