Chancellor Rachel Reeves has announced a temporary VAT cut on summer attractions as part of a new package aimed at easing cost-of-living pressures for families across the United Kingdom.

The Chancellor said VAT on family attractions will be cut from 20 per cent to 5 per cent until September.

The Chancellor said it would apply to ticket prices for fairs, theme parks, zoos and museums.

Reevest has already funded measures to reduce or freeze prices on household energy bills, prescription charges and train fares through tax.
